Mosede Fort
Tlf.43 40 40 36

The fort was an active part of Denmark's military defense from 1916 to 1922.

Construction of the fort was initiated in 1913 and completed in 1916.

The fort was fully manned and defending Denmark's neutral position during World War 1, 1914-18.

The fort has been restored by Greve Municipality and is now reopened as a museum.

In the exhibition "On the Brink of War - Neutrality between Warfare and Welfare" you get the history of Denmark during World War 1.

At the same time, you get an impression of how the fort looked when it was an important part of Denmark's military defense.

Financial support from three foundations

The exhibition has been financially funded by The Bikuben Foundation, Labour Market Holiday Foundation and Nordea-fonden.
